Synthetic Bodys

Throughout history, humanity has always tried to shape the future while making new developments in many areas. As we design our future, we focus on facilitating our daily lives. By developing technology, we have been saving time and prolonging our life spans. The ones that we wanted to survive led us to new developments. While this context was producing new concepts, Transhumanism became fueling our desire for life. Transhumanism is a philosophy that believes that we can reach a much higher level in our physical, mental and social lives. Those who are superior in every way are called transhumans. We have watched and read in various movies and fantasy novels that our generations use machines instead of their own organs. When we said artificial arms, artificial organs, artificial worlds, the foundations of our virtual lives were laid.
Within the scope of these studies, I visualized the potential of pushing the limits of our body. I conveyed the augmented human being out of its own nature and being synthetic. Synthetic bodies are the point we have reached in the race to search for more. In the future, as we shape our new bodies the way we want, we will see that we go out of our nature and become synthetic.

The exhibition was held within the body of Istanbul Topkapi University.
